# What Is DedcatBounce?

DedcatBounce is the participation layer of the DEDCAT system, coordinating activity, referrals, and yield claims.

Within the DEDCAT system, DedcatBounce performs four core functions:

* **Routes revenue to stakers** 5% of all Bounce volume flows to $DEDCAT Stakers (+ 100% of Dedcat Cabal referral revenue)
* **Enforces participation to claim yield** Staking $DEDCAT earns yield from dApp revenue across the system. Claiming that yield requires active participation via DedcatBounce.
* **Drives referral-based growth** Every player enters through a referral, and referral trees route 13% of Bounce volume upstream.
* **Verifies participation and distributes rewards** DedcatBounce verifies participation, attributes and distributes referral revenue in real time, and determines yield claim eligibility.
